The first step is to determine whether your skin type is a cool, neutral, or warm tone. From there, our expertise in color matching will allow us to find the perfect shade of eyebrow to match your skin tone. The most important pieces of information are to understand the base and undertone of the pigment color as well as one’s skin.

The next step is to go over how we will achieve the perfect shape for you. To ensure we achieve the most symmetrical brows for your facial structure, we’ll use our string mapping technique designed to find the golden ratio for all facial proportions. This is a good time to share your definition of DREAM brows. We love and welcome you to do this as it contributes to the mutual understanding of exactly what your brow wishes are!

To avoid any discomfort, numbing cream is applied before and throughout the entire procedure to ensure you remain as painless as possible. Most clients do not feel any pain after numbing and would say it’s a similar sensation to an electric toothbrush on your eyebrows.

Once the numbing kicks in, we’ll start the tattooing process. Although we technically consider this a tattoo, it's only done on the epidermis layer of the skin, which means that the pigment only penetrates 1/10 as deep into the tissue like traditional body art tattoos. This allows the pen to create the soft powdery look of naturally defined brows that also last for 2-3 years! (Or as long as you like with annual touchups)

After all said and done, we’ll make sure YOU are satisfied with your new brows and understand our simple aftercare treatment so they can heal nicely. Your brows will heal about 40% lighter over the next few weeks. Everyone’s skin is different so they will all heal differently, but not to worry! This is when you’ll come in for your 6-8 week touch-up to correct any light spots or add on additional color/thickness.

Is the process painful?

This procedure is close to painless, some may even find it a bit soothing. Numbing is applied before and throughout the entire procedure to ensure your best comfort. Most of my clients do not feel a thing after numbing. My work is also extremely light-handed which creates the most natural results with least amount of harshness. There will be no swelling and little to no redness even right after the procedure.

How long do they last?

Ombré Powder Brows typically last up to 3 years; or as long as you'd like with yearly touch ups. If you decide to not get them touched up, your brows will continue to lighten up over the years until all residual pigment leaves the skin. This technique was designed to fade out over time so that you will never be left with any unwanted colors in the future.

How long is the procedure?

The procedure takes just about ~1.5 hours start to finish with immediate results! The appointment will consist of consultation to determine skin tone and pigment color, eyebrow mapping for frame and design, pre-drawing for desired shape, numbing for comfort, and finally tattooing. We’ll make sure you are 100% satisfied with your brows and understand the aftercare treatment before sending you on your way.

Is it safe for my skin?

The Ombré Powder Brow technique utilizes a small rotary ink pen made suitable for all skin types unlike microblading which is not suitable for those with oily or sensitive skin. This technique is not harmful to the skin as it does not cut deep into the epidermis and there is no blade involved. Ombré Powder Brows can also cover up old microblading, semi-permanent makeup, or cosmetic tattoos that has (somewhat) faded.

How long does it take to heal?

The healing process lasts 7-14 days and requires no heavy sweating like going to the gym. I know this may be hard for some but please refrain from working out or do so mildly for optimal healed results. Also please avoid excessive sun, swimming, facials, saunas, or brow makeup during the healing process to ensure they heal nicely.

Are they easy to maintain?

The best part about Ombré Powder Brows is that they're super low maintenance! Just clean up the hair around your shape occasionally and your beautiful results will easily last up to 3 years with minimal maintenance. (Only if you decide not to touch them up. They can last as long as you like with annual touchups. Please note that color retention will depend on a number of factors such as: lifestyle, skin type, sun exposure, etc.)

Permanent Eyeliner is a treatment you can receive that replaces the need to put on eyeliner every day. Is the process painful?

We apply numbing cream to the area prior to treatment and throughout the duration of the treatment. We utilize numbing cream to ensure a painless experience. It's important to note that individual pain tolerance may vary, and we take this into consideration to ensure your maximum comfort.

How long will eyeliner last?

On average this semi-permanent makeup lasts anywhere from two to five years. One Touch-up session six to eight weeks after the initial procedure is highly recommended. A fresh color application is recommended two to three years after your initial treatment depending on skin type and care.

Will it look natural?

Is it safe?

Procedures are done under strict sterile standards in keeping with those set by the Centers for Disease Control. We only use sterile disposable supplies, never reuse supplies under any circumstances, and all contaminated needles are disposed of in a recognizable sharps container.

Can I still wear makeup?

Yes, this eyeliner treatment will only enhance any other makeup you choose to wear. Once fully healed, makeup will not affect the eyeliner and will make your eyes stand out while saving you a ton of time from your makeup routine.
